Re: Fuel pump...
First off are you positive the pump is bad? What is your fuel pressure reading while cranking? Does the pump make any noise when you first turn the key? Are the injectors receiving a pulse? Have you put a noid light on any of em while cranking? The first thing I'd personally do is syphon that tank out, I doubt 8 year old gas is still combustable. Have you tried starting it with starting fluid? If you do end up needing to change the pump it can be a bit of a PITA, you have to drop the rear low enough to get the tank out from above it.

Re: Fuel pump...
check the relay, also make sure that all your electrical connections under the hood are connected. i had to swap out my fuel pump because i didnt hear it when i turned my key, it started with starting fluid and the relay was fine, then after i put in the new pump, it still didnt start, then i noticed this black wire with a green connector that was disconnected, i connected it, boom i had fuel. biggest waste of 200 dollars on a fuel pump.
by the way anyone wanna buy a fuel pump? lol
