tpi idle issues

Car: 1989 iroc z 5.7 tpi
tpi idle issues
89 350 tpi auto 100k 120 130 psi all cylnders new dist, plugs, wires
car starts and runs good until it drops to low idle it surges 500 to 750
on a regular cycle and you can hear an intermittent miss or studder, i figured the miss was in the burned up plug wires, but no change with the new ones
