Fuel Lines where do they go??
Fuel Lines where do they go??
This car I got is an 83 I traded for my S10, so anyways, the original motor in the camaro had a broke rod. Got a different engine in. So I went to put gas in the tank and there is a hole from where the previous owners drilled a hole to take all of their gas out. I can fix that...so while I was down there working on the hole and see the fuel lines coming from the tank (which were cut.) So I can see where those lines go back together. My question is there are three coming out of the tank and all I see is two next to the fuel pump in the engine bay. The engine I put in has a fuel pump with one place for a fuel line. The engine I took out had a fuel pump with two places. So what do I do and where do the fuel lines go???

The 5/16" line is the return. I'd recommend using it. Carter M6626 (summitracing.com CRT-M6626) is a high-volume mechanical pump with return.

No, if you have a return style pump, you need to hook up the return.
If you are using a non-return style pump, then you don't need it hooked up.
