oil leak related to wrong pcv?
a couple months back i installed a 350 from a 84 vette into my 85 LB9 iroc and carried all my tpi stuff over. since the swap iv had a decent size oil leak at 2500 and up rpm.changed the oilpan gasket twice and still a leak, i used the 1-pc fel-pro gasket. i read that a bad or wrong pvc valve would leave pressure in the crank case? so i went from my origional pcv valve off my LB9, and installed the valve that came with the 350. seems to almost cure my leak? the smog pump bolt is in place and sealed, and both pcvs seem to be in good shape. does this make sence?

Definately, an improper PCV setup can cause a slight pressure to build up in the block which can push oil out any of the gaskets or the dipstick.
