Length of rocker studs

I am changing from roller tipped rockers to rocker rockers.I have 3/8" dia. screw in studs that are about 1 5/8" long. With the roller rockers there is only about 1/4" of threads sticking above the arm. Thats with the arms just sitting on top the push rod and valve. Is that enough threads to hold the arms on safely? Thanks for the help.

Re: Length of rocker studs

You could probably use at least another 1/8" of length, but they might be ok.
