Slight miss at idle on new 355

Got my car back from an engine swap yesterday! Love the new 355. It's back in for a rear end adjustment (and the speedo died ... that's a whole other issue), but while it runs great for the most part, when I sit at a stop light/sign while driving, the car will seem to "miss" or "jerk" intermittently. It doesn't do it at every stop ... just sometimes. Is this something that might go away with time, or does anybody have any suggestions? It's not real serious, just a little annoying since it's brand new.

BTW the car is TPI. So if this needs to be moved to the TPI board, that's fine with me.

thanks!

Re: Slight miss at idle on new 355

i'm having a very similiar problem myself right now. I have a 305 tune port and well it's in immaculate condition. problem is when i'm drivin it runs pretty damn good. but when i'm letting off the gas to come to a light and am just kinda costing i get surges it'll rev up and then jump down kinda jumping forward then coming close to stalling out and it really pisses me off. so umm i'm told it could be a timing issue or tps but i'm not sure. so any help for you would probably help me as well.

The LT1 in my old '95 Impala SS used to do that surge. It was the IAC. You might want to check that.

This is more of a miss than a surge. It idles very smoothly at a constant RPM and then just kinda misses every once in a while. It shakes the car a little when it misses.
