guys. get a load of this

I was driving on the highway last night and my car started to act up like it did not want to move when I pressed the gas. got off the highway and it started to really have problems. Then it died and did not start back up. It crankes put don't start. I pushed it on the side of the street were parking was avalible and walked home the mile it was. the next day i came back with some tools and what i saw was a nightmare. my car was on the sidewalk someone hit the car that following night and pushed it up on the sidewalk. the car as no dent on the rear bumper. I had it towed home and I don't know were to start. I just 2 days ago changed the spark plugs, spark plug wires, dis cap and rotor, and the ignition coil. it a high output coil. I was thinking do you think it may have burned out the stock ignition modual.

You need to first find out if it is a fuel or ignition issue. Use a spark tester or pull a plug and see if you are getting spark. You might have a bad fuel pump instead of an electrical issue. If you identify that is a spark issue, the module could be it or even the coil. Every part sold has a defect rate and you might have just gotten a bad one.

im going to check the fuel pressure. i will turn the ignition key to the on position and check. I hope it in the 38-42psi range.

checked the fuel pressure today. I had around 40 to 41 psi. So i ruled out of being the fuel pump. now I think its ignition.

yeah ignition module. besides , thats the last part of your tune up.but try to start it again. those modules seem to have different reactions. mine would run fine until the module got hot and would shut down until it cooled of , then i could drive again
