i just completed a engine swap in my trans am, with a 1973 350 i built 3 years ago i has it in a truck and put 10k miles on it, when swapping motors i broke the dip stick off at the base, i just thought i would fix it a little later, anyways the first time i took it out and gunned t, and there was blue smoke everywhere, it SEEMS oil cam out of the open dipstick hole and splased on the headder, is this normal if there is just a open hole insted of an open dip stick tube?

also i installed a crane 266 cam, and i was tuning the carb and the vacume reading seemed a little low at 15-16 inches, is the cam causing that or somethig else?
