spark plg ????S

I have a 3 part question for you guys.

1. i need to run accel header plugs b/c of header clearance. which plug should i start out with?

2. If i start with that plug, is there any truth in dropping a heat range b/c of fuel blending. To get better fuel mileage.

3. In the future i want to spray up to 150.Ive talked to people at the track and they change plugs a step colder . Can you just keep the colder plugs in and get better mileage b/c of the 15%ethanol

Thanks

Start with a stock heat plug. IIRC NGK FR series plugs are the same length as the Accels, and may be cheaper.

No

You can use the colder plug if you want, but you won't notice any difference in mileage unless you go too cold and the plug fouls.

Im running accel shorties in mine. You can go to any parts store and they should have a conversion list of what brand plugs convert to other brands.

If i can get a chance tom, ill tell you the number im running in mine.

I also read somewhere about running a step colder plug to get better gas mileage because of the 15% ethanol in gas now. Buy I cant tell you where i read it.
