Car: Looking
AC Clutch Bearing

I have a 1990 camaro it sound like the bearing is going out with the ac on. My question is: Is the bearing pressed into the pulley? I pulled it apart and it sure seams that way.

Re: AC Clutch Bearing

You can't get it out without bending the thin part of the pulley that the coil faces. You should change the clutch assy or put a rebuilt compressor on it (what I would do).
Nothing worse than replacing a $80 clutch only to have the shaft seal on the compressor start leaking...
