Bad fuel pump again?
I have a 91 firebird v6 that does not seem to be getting fuel. Turns over and gets spark but does not start. I managed to get it home yesterday after I lost rpms on the highway and had to stop and restart it. It would run at low rpms but would choke if I gave too much gas. Now it will not start. I do not hear the pump prime itself like normal, so after checking the fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay I checked the C313 connector in the back and cleaned it. I then hooked power directly to it, and the fuel pump came on.(started making noise, not very loud). I got the car to start with this wire hooked up but it would die if i gave it too much gas, like it was only getting enough to idle. I don't think the pump sounded quite right but I don't really know. I measured the resistance across the c313 and it read 4.2 ohms, which would suggest that the motor is good. Is it possible that the pump is sick and just not working as well all of a sudden?
This car has 251,000 miles on it, trying to make it to 300, I had the fuel pump replaced about 6-7 years ago (~80,000 miles ago). I figured it should last for longer than that, but it seems like I need to replace it again.
Please let me know if you have any other ideas!

I also replaced the fuel pump filter. I checked the relay by switching around the three of them. I also put a jumper on the relay wire and this did not seem to do anything.
