strokin question

when strokin a 350 would this crankshaft work and would i be able to use the same connecting rods or would i have to buy shorter ones http://store.summitracing.com/partde...6&autoview=sku

that looks like a crank for a 400cid engine, and youd need longer connecting rods and smaller pistons not shorter ones

That crank won't fit a 350 block as-is.

No, you don't need longer connecting rods. Standard-length 350 connecting rods are used with 383-specific pistons are most commonly used, or shorter 400 connecting rods and standard 350 pistons can be used. Other matching combinations of rods and pistons can be used as well.

It'll work if you've got a 2 piece RMS block, but you're probably paying $500 too much for it.

well i kinda want something with good power but still streetable. i was talking with a friend after we pulled my 305 today and he says just leave as a 350 and get a 3.73 rear end. im thinkin about goin that route
