will solid motor mounts lower the engine

As the title suggests : I currently have new poly mounts in my 89 'bird , it also has a Stealth Ram intake which hits the hood . I like the stock look of the car and want to retain the stock hood . Will solid mounts lower the engine at least 3/4 of an inch versus the poly mounts ??? I like after market hoods as much as the next guy , but I really like the sneakier stock hood . Thanks in advance and yes I searched .

Re: will solid motor mounts lower the engine

When I bought my moroso solid mounts it said they would raise the engine about 1/2 an inch but I could be wrong, I never even bothered to check.
