POS Fuel Filter Rusted on too tight

I have a 1989 tpi camaro. My fuel lines and the fuel filter are "welded" together by rust. I used a lot of PB Blaster and went out and bought some flare wrenches to break it apart. I ended up with a partially stripped fuel line end. What should I do now, or should I be asking how much will the mechanic charge me to install it?

you could try a nice set of vice grips if its too stripped. just grip them on real tight and they shouldnt slip. also try beating an end of the wrench against the hex head of the screw part to try and knock the rust loose. also you do know that if you wait after you spray pb blaster a little while itll become looser not immediately.

I waited an hour after spraying pb blaster, no luck. I'll probably buy some vise grips. It pisses me off that GM likes to put the filter where it can corrode easily.
