My Uncle has a 1986 firebird V6 2.8 Fuel Injected and it has a ruff indle and it will easly flud if you give it any gas when you start it up. It will drive but will stay olney one speed even if you floor it or it might quit then. The fuel pump is loud and is always on when running but if you go turn the key it will run then shut off after a few seconds when not running. Just had a fuel pump put in it last year and ran fine till now. Anyone help me?

 

You may have a vacuum leak, or a clogged fuel filter. Has the fuel filter been changed recently? If you dont have a clogged fuel filter or vacuum leak, I'd suggest checking out your injectors or fuel pressure.
