Apparently Walbro pumps have become junk. I would highly recommend against installing a Walbro pump. If I had my NOS kit in and I sprayed when that pump half died, my engine would be fried right now.

damn dude that would have sucked majorly good thing you tagged it down to the pump, kinda sad to hear that their quality took a dive

have fun with it

Yeah sorry, some of the older injectors are around 21 #'s like the Rochester ones, or the smaler lb/hr bosch. My 22 lb/hr Bosch's are 16.4, if the rating gets to around 11 ohms, that made my moms SFI twin dual cam 3.4 Lumina, run like ****, that makes the computers injector firing get all out of wack.

That sucks about that fuel pump though, at least you found that problem now.

Re: Car runs like crap and wants to stall out during acceleration.

Hey guys,
I got worried about the white smoke too, but it only happens after I start it up and it starts running really rough and struggles to idle. when it came out though, it smelt like fuel so bad lighting a match could explode it. I notice black smoke mainly at first start up and I know the valve stem seals are bad. But . . . I didn't think of this until today, the ground strap on the back of the motor looks very rusty and worn... I'm praying to God that's the main problem! I will let you know as soon as I do it.
Oh yeah, just to let you all know . . . I bought my car back in 2005 and I worked as a tech at a chevy dealer at the time and come to find out there was still an open recall!!!!! It was for the gas tank leaking, which it didn't but I said f it and did it anyway. So I got paid to replace my fuel pump and tank!!!!! So it won't hurt to call the dealer and ask if there's any open recalls on your camaro because they do it for free. I just happen to work there and that's how I found out. Sweetness.
Much love to all of you!
