Transmission: turbo 350 2800 stall

Axle/Gears: 3:73 detroit locker posi

idle rpm

i have a 350 enigne in my 1984 camaro. when i start it up it idles at bout 500rpm and then it stalls out. whats the rpm level i should be running at? i think im to low. if i keep foot on gas it idles fine. thanks

umm try adjusting your idle adjust screw and brin the idle up to about 600-700 rpms or high enought that it doesnt die...no sense in keeping ure foot on it to keep it alive

check your vaccum hose for any leaks, mine did the exact same thing, and my vaccum hose was leaking
