Car: 1983 trans am

Engine: Vortec 350 w/ a comp cam

Transmission: B&Mth350 2800holeshot

Axle/Gears: 10bolt 3.23's

Engine Mount Problems !!! please help

Ok so i'm dropping a 1998 vortec 350 in my 1983 t/a... i put new prothane poly inserts in the original clamshell mounts and swapped the top half from the 305 to the new 350. went to drop it in and they do not line up! the motor side is wider than the mounts on the frame... like the mounts on the frame are too close together...

WTF am I doing wrong??

Perhaps you installed the inserts upside down.
