Air pump question
87 Iroc tpi, Do I need the whole air pump system?? The air control valve is broke and they want over 200 bucks for a new one..Do I really need it? Will it throw codes if I block it all off? Thanks for helping!!!

!!No it wont throw any codes, but its a requirement for emissions control purposes.

ok thanks, I know your right I should have searched, I have been working on this car and when I see a problem that I am not sure about I run in the house and ask a question about it on here than run back out to work on the car..lol I will search next time..thxks!!
