Code 43 ESC problem

ok well first of all i have a 1989 camaro rs with a 305 TBI it is giving me a code 43 when the car is warm and i step on the gas hard i have just replaced the ESC module and the knock sensor i dotn know what it could be i really need some help to fix this i also hooked up a scanner and i looked at the knock counts and it has so all the time it seems like the knock sensor issint even working and i just replaced it o please any help is appreciated thank.

With code 43 under hard throttle the forced knock test is failing. This can be caused by incorrect base timing setting or too high an octane fuel. I have several posts that go into more detail on the TBI board. Try a search with my name and try "forced AND knock" in the key words box (without the quotes).
