okay so i replaced the carb on my 305 v8 put in new fuel lines, ect. so i try to turn on my car and then i got maybe 3 clicks and a nudge from the engine. and then its just not going at all. i replaced the battery about 3 weeks ago so its a brand new battery. but the car hasent been started in about 2 weeks. also if i try to turn on the car the head lights go real dim ect and the power windows barley move. ASWELL the voltage meter in my car is 1/4 charged and when i try to turn it over it goes to 0. ALSO i tried to jump it today i got maybe 1/2 a engine nudge and just a couple clicks, then nothing. any1 wanna give some advice?

 

Charge the battery.

If you hook up another car to jump it, letting the other car run at fast idle for a while will put a surface charge on your battery. Shut off the jump car then start yours.
