I recently bought a 91 camaro. it wasnt running when I bought it so i put a different engine in it out of a 92 1500. I went to start the engine and the starter was working perfectly but the timing was 180 off so a set the timing perfect i didnt touch any wiring except for the distributor and coil. I went back into the car to start it and i got nothing from the starter all the accessories work accept the starter...? I turned the key to the on position and brigde the hot wire on the starter to the purple wire terminal with a screw driver. the engine then immediatly started to crank, so the starter isnt the problem im guessing is the wiring for a sensor of some sort but i have know idea which one please help me with any info you might have thanks.
