305 or 350???

Any way to tell the difference between a 305 or a 350 in a camaro without seaching out the the block #s or not where they are located, guy says it is a 350 carb out of 87 trans am, only 305 had carbs that year not 350's so any help is gladly welcomed, thanks.

Re: 305 or 350???

The only absolute is to look for a 50 or 57L on the rear top driver's side of the block by the trans.
