water pump bolt question

Ok, this is pretty embarrassing. There are 4 bolts holding on the water pump for my engine (obviously, right), one of them has a stud on the end, and the other three are normal bolts. My problem is, I pulled the pump quite a while ago and I forget where the studded bolt goes. Yeah yeah, I know, I'm an idiot. Sooo..instead of guessing and most likely having to remove it again, does anyone know which hole the studded bolt goes into? I have an '87 Firebird Formula 350. It is an L98 350. My alt is on the passenger side, most pics I'm finding have it on the drivers side, so I don't know if that affects what side the stud goes?? Thanks to anyone that can help me out.

Re: water pump bolt question

From what I remember the stud was on the driver's side. I don't have an L98, but helped a friend replace his water pump.

Re: water pump bolt question

Assuming you don't have a serpentine set up, looking at the front of your motor the stud goes in the top right hole and is used for an accessory bracket.
