My buddy just picked up a 500 big block caddy motor for real cheap and we got the insane idea of throwing it into a third gen camaro. What would be need to make it all work?

Anything can be made to fit with enough time and money but this isn't a simple drop in engine swap.

You'll need a different transmission because a chev bolt pattern tranny won't bolt onto a B-O-P-Caddy engine. You can use BBC headers with Caddy flanges welded onto the tubes. Just about everything else will have to be fabricated.

There is no cheap performance potential to using a Caddy engine. It can be a lot cheaper and easier to drop in a BBC.

i searched but i didnt have no luck i guess. we are trying to do it on the cheap i know we would need an adapter plate for the tranny and we were just gonna use exhaust manifolds to make life easier
