Just got a 89 camaro locked both doors not knowing that you need 2 sets of keys. So i have the key for the ingiton but not for the doors. I tried using a wire hanger but im not sure which way i should pull the lever any tips on breakin into a camaro.

 

they are very easy to break into since they aren't door frame cars. You need a flat head screw driver, some break line and a coat hanger.

Option 1 (best option). Bend last 1" of break line 90*. Pry on window with screwdriver stick break line in and try to press the unlock button to unlock the doors. This is the best way IMO.

Option 2. Go to passenger side with coat hanger (you will need 2) and try to fish the keys out of the ignition. It's hard but i've done it before.

Option 3. Slim jim, this is the best way but it didn't work for me would only lock the door not unlock it.

 

I've locked my keys in a couple times and used a fiberglass collapsible tent pole through the top corner of the passenger door to push the lock forward to unlock on the driver side door. Don't waste your time trying to hit the "unlock" button for power locks.

 

After hours of trying to get it unlocked I broke down a called pop-a-lock. The guy came and had the door open in like 2sec. THaks
