EGR TEMP SENSOR / Code 32

What is the purpose of the EGR Temp Sensor? Can you get this part from the dealership? Getting a Code 32, and I changed my EGR Valve!

Re: EGR TEMP SENSOR / Code 32

When the ECM commands the EGR to open, it looks for the temp sensor to close as the exhaust path is opened. If it doesn't, it assumes the EGR didn't open and sets a code 32.
