my car ran fine then i installed a new manifold and reset the timing on the balancer to the big triangle on the balancer i then set the rotor to the first plug position started right up however it now reves at 3k check engine light just blinks code 12 constantly ( i know its suppose to blink 3 times) any ideas maybe timing? i havent been able to time it yet

have also checked for vacuum leaks none found

and its a 91 camaro 350

 

yea i think you can ruel out vac. leak b/c its going to need fuel to rev and hold 3k.

think its that i didnt unclip the timing wire when i reset the timing?

 

i now unclipped the wire and the tps set the timing it sounds good as no timing light 750 rpm connect the clip is ok idles great when i connect the tps it dies and will revv back up to 3000 when restarted im tps worked great reight before the swap any ideas guys
