MSD Street Fire Distributer

I'm in the process of switching over to a roller block and was told that my dizzy fron my old flat tappet block wouldn't work. I was sold an MSD "Street Fire" distributer. The thing is, all the Street Fire stuff is pretty inexpensive and I'm wondering if it is the right thing to have bought.

This is a street car and won't see higher than 6000 RPM so I the argument against an all-out race unit seemed sound.

Has anyone had any experience with this offering from MSD?

Thanks,
Jon

Which part number MSD distributor did you get?

Oh, your old distributor would have been fine. Apparently the factory started using "melonized" gears before the roller cam years.

Hmm. It's still in the box and sealed so it is returnable. I'll check the part num and post back.
