Just wondering what I can do.. I hate not knowing exactly how much gas I have and my current guage sometimes appears like it has the right reading but other times goess all over.. When I fill it up it goes all the way up and then after a while of driving it dies down but then i look again and its above where it was just a couple of minutes before.. Is there a way to have a guage put in maybe on the piillar or something that will read correctly? What would I need?

It's likely not the gauge, it's probably the sender in the tank. First check the ground under the driver's side bottom back seat. If that doesn't help, try grounding the sender wire at the tank. If the gauge goes to empty, it's probably time to drop the tank.

Ok so first what am I checking for when I go under the rear seat? and where would I get access to the wire at th sender unit on the tank?
