1.6 rocker arms ???

well my new ( old ride ) has an un-molested lo-3 eng. . still has smog pump etc. . well my question is will the comp. cams 1.6 roller tip rockers work ? i have heard some stories about pushrod clearence problems . i had the 1.52 rockers on my other eng. , liked them . any feedback would be great on the clearence question . need to do valve seals etc. thought new rockers at the same time would be the way to go . i will not be removing heads . thanks in advance .

Re: 1.6 rocker arms ???

you will be fine. I have had the same 1.6 rockers on my car for 3 years without issue. but if you want to replace the valve seals it wouldn't be a bad idea. but also if you do that you might as well replace the springs while you're at it.

Re: 1.6 rocker arms ???

, do the valvesprings. You don't need anything fance, a regular $20 set of stock replacements are fine for your cam and rpm range, even with the 1.6:1 rockers.

Re: 1.6 rocker arms ???

Doing something like this would be like adding a new cam. performance wise depending on how well the heads flow.

A question to think about: Would there be an issue with valve cover clearance??? What about on an L98? (that second question is for me, sorry to rape the post .
