305 or 350

I have a 305 with a cam was wondering if I should stay with the 305 or build up a 350.I have the t5 tranny in my car.the car is stock with the 305 but its cammed and has a wieand intake and holley 750 carb and aftermarket distributor.if I build a 350 that will push around 400hp at the flywheel will the stock tranny hold up good?
