Need help with exhaust leak and other things
I just replaced the head gaskets on my LG4 had the heads resurfaced cleaned everything up and started putting it all together. Having quit the time figuring out the timeing by myself and never done anything like this before I got it running somewhat good. But there is a major exhaust leak on the passenger side when I went to start it. Upon further inspection I found out that my exhaust manifold the two middle bolts were loose. Even though my little brother torqued them down to specs. The EFE Valve Acuator thing that sits in between the exhaust manifold and Y-pipe does that have to be in there? it fell out when we took out the manifolds and tryed to get it back in but had no luck it just kept on falling out and not staying in place. So we just put the little blue donut looking gasket in it's place because that is where one of my friends said it was supposed to go. Any Ideas on this?
Also Vacuum lines I have the haynes manual but the vacuum diagram is confusing and doesn't really explain every well. Where does the vacuum line for the map sensor plug into?
Also I get it running and it revs up to 2,500 rpm then after about 2 seconds drops down and dies? I can hit the gas and it revs up fine but other then that it just dies.

Fixed Exhaust leak But still need help ASAP
I need to know where the MAP sensor hooks up to the Carb. what part like the back or front? Also I got it started runs up to 2,500 RPM then backs down and dies? Any Ideas on this is it because my timining is alittle off? Or my Carb. Just needs adjusted? I need to get this fixed today please help. It revs fine no popping or stuttering.
Major Vacuum Leak
I fixed all the problems, because I most likely have the worst looking third gen out there everything all hacked up almost every single vacuum line was unhooked. Goes to show how much I know about any of this stuff.
Anyways it fired up on the first shot and ran perfectly.
