surging idle, rough at low/no load
'89 T/A 350 TPI
At idle the engine surges between 500 & 1100rpm.
When I snap the throttle it has good response, but pops after I release it.
On the road, it has good throttle response & acceleration. In low/no load conditions (steadly speed on level & downhill roads) the car constantly jumps, like when a fuel pump is cutting out, only constant & regular.
Engine sounds/feels like it's missing badly.
The fans don't seem to be switching on either.
No check engine light.
Over the past 6 weeks to 2 months it's had new cap, rotor, wires, spark plugs, 1 new injector & TPS.
