heads
Finally got around to getting the casting numbers off my heads, 462624. So (being a junior member) I was wondering what the verdict on these heads were, good, bad, ect. I searched and bout all i saw were that they were prone to cracking, and that the last year they were made was 87 so im assuming they were original to the engine. (came outta a 87-89 c10)

They're old truck heads.
Now, you want good truck heads, look into '96-'99 Vortec heads. . .

Re: heads
They are a very poor choice for a performance car, even only a mild performance car. Vortecs, or some TPI heads, would be a much better choice.
