Banging noise please help

When i put the gas pedal to the floor I hear and feel a bang under the car. I was wondering if anybody new what it could be. When i gradually speed up it doesn;t happen. Also my speedo needle sticks a little anyway to fix that. thanx

Most likely you have a cracked or dry rotted mount.

My car does the same thing. Was hoping it was just weak rear shocks. Let us know when you find out.

Tranny mounts arent expensive or hard to replace. They cost about $10 at your local parts store, and when I did mine it took me 10 minutes.

Re: Banging noise please help

It was the tranny mount. It was rotted out. It has been replaced, and it solved the issue.
