I have an 89 RS Camaro and it has a 15 gallon tank. I'd assume that you have the exact same size tank.

Re: how many gallons in our tanks

I've heard anywhere from 16.5 gallons on carb cars to 15.5 gallons on EFI cars. I'm guessing its a 16.5 gallon tank but when you put the EFI fuel pump in there it takes up some space and makes its 15.5 gallons.

Re: how many gallons in our tanks

lol the EFI fuel pump does not take up 1.5 gal... it would take up like 8-12 oz. nothing, the pumps/ housings are tiny. they are rated at 15.5 gallon tanks for the EFI. most cars use the same size capacity tank. kinda like the industry standard but my sis 03 saturn ION has a tiny tank.

my bros 68, 74, and 78 vettes all have 15.5 gallon tanks as well
