Another Code 32 problem
Ok I have a rough idle again and Ive been trying to figure this one out for a bit. I've done searches and have not been to much help. This is the third time I've gotten code 32. the first time the baseplate was clogged with carbon so that gave me an excuse to buy the Edelbrock baseplate and the problem went away. The second time it came the EGR passages in the plenum and runners were clogged so I cleaned those out (actually got SLP runners too) and it went away. Now I'm gettig the code for a third time. I assumed it was the EGR valve so I replaced that. My idle seemed better afterwards so I assumed it was fixed, but no. It came back. When the scanner is plugged in it reads
"EGR Diagnostic SW signaling Incorrect EGR valve operation"
The valve is new so I didnt think too much about that, but what is the switch?

Re: Another Code 32 problem
There is a solenoid by the distributor that controls the EGR valve's operation. That's your switch.
