car won't start, good battery and alternator

Its been getting pretty cold lately so I don't know if that has anything to do wiht it, but I got a new battery 2 months ago, and recently I've been having trouble turning on my car. I had AAA come look at it today and they said the battery is fine and the alternator seems to be fine as well. I had started it and about a minute later it just shut off on me. Nothing happens when I turn the key and no lights will turn on. Is there anything else that could go wrong?

The fusable links is the first place I'd look - By the battery and down on the starter.

Id start with ground on battery, frame and battery mount .

What Does your voltmeter gauge reading if cars running ?

Is service engine soon light on when running only?

My Corvette does this, it needs new cable ends. Try cleaning yours up, and putting them back on. Sometimes thats the ticket with my ride.

when I got a new battery the guy broke the block the stabilizes the battery, I didnt think it was that important to fix....The reading is in the middle if not a little more and no service engine light has ever come on.
