hey guys... how hard, and what is involvd in putting a 9 inch rear end in an 84 camaro?

A junkyard 9", modifications are required beyond the ability of many people. A direct bolt in aftermarket 9", it's a simple swap but will hurt your wallet by at least $2000.

thats what i figured. my dad got a few complete rear ends and i wanted to swap one

Chances are those are truck diffs and way to wide to fit under a third gen anyway.
