Head Casting 3998998????

Hey I got these set of heads laying around, the numbers are 3998998 then there is an E24 78. I cant find any info on them, can anyone enlighten me on them? The closest I can find is 3998997. I believe there mid 70's smoggers. But just curious as why I cant find any info on them? Thanks.

Most likely you are looking at 3998993. 3's and 8's can look alike at times. That being the case, yes, large chamber smogger heads.

Those heads are friggin' AWESOME! Pull the rocker studs and stick the heads under your dually truck wheels and that thing won't roll anywhere!

They're also great for holding a door open in a windstorm, or keeping the tarp in place over your firewood pile.

Thats about as much as I figured, and just to verify I checked both heads and there deffinatly 998. Either way, probably just going to be scrap metal, was just curious, thanks for the replies.
