Maybe your spark is weak, have you replaced your coil pack, wires, dizzy, plugs "gapped properly", alt, bat ?
Also when we first start our cars no emissions are really working up to par yet, is the exhaust old ?

just bought it for 500 bucks.it has ***** to the walls, can get 1st,2nd and a chirp in 3rd.didnt check anything yet but I noticed the tps only has one regular screw in it and the bottom one is snapped so I"m looking for a aftermarket TB.also when I first start it up I have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running for about 3 mins then its fine
