no exact answers yet on biggest cam on 305 tpi
people telling me it's .460 .475 .490.so what is the max lift on my stock 90 5.0 tpi heads?I'm going to change the springs to a max lift of .600,I know the heads wont handle that much but what is the largest?I have the stock rockers but in the future I"m going to put 1.6 full roller's on.
but if it will take a .490 lift with stock rockers would I beable to put the 1.6 rollers on with out any mods?
and if I want to go with a .513 lift what would have to be done with the heads to accept the cam.
one last question.would a set of 350 heads have the same max cam lift as my 305 heads?

A lift limit is a lift limit, so adding rockers for more lift won't get around it.
Depending on the casting and year, yes they would have the same lift limit within sloppy factory tolerances.
I'm working on a very complete answer for this common question. I just don't feel it's ready quite yet, but yes there are several options to use to increase lift limits on stock heads.
