90 5.0 tpi, when I first start it and the motors cold it wont stay running with out me pressing down on the gas peddle for like 2 or 3 min then its fine.it also blows out black smoke when its cold too but only when its cold.its fine on warm starts and when its at normal temp. it cranks over alittle harder then normal but starts and runs good.any ideas on what it is on the stalling and black smoke

You’re running too rich.

Is the SES light on ?

Even if it isn’t scan for codes.
