Oil Pressure Gauge
Ok so I feel really stupid posting this but I need help pointing myself in the right direction for the solution.
Car is a 1987 Coupe 305 carb.
Tonight I was pulling out of my driveway (its a hill) and as I was going down it I mindlessly hit the transmission into reverse. I was probably going 3 to 5 mph but still freaked me out. I quickly put it in park and started checking things out. Everything seemed to be fine (all that I know of right now) except one thing.. my oil pressure gauge was tucked against the right side of the dash. It was way back from the 0psi mark. It was off the gauge but in the opposite direction.
What would have caused this and what did I possibly break in the process. My gauge had been starting to act up lately by twitching a bit so I started to think the sending unit was going bad or something but now it doesn't read a number and it isn't anywhere near the psi readings.
I know I just had a mindless brain fart (and I am somewhat embarrassed posting this) when I did this but needs to be fixed so I come asking for help.
Thanks.

Re: Oil Pressure Gauge
I'll bet the connector is just loose. Reach back by the driver's side of the distributor (down low) and move things around. It might start working again.
