Car idles erratically/stalls

Figured someone on here would know better than anybody. I have a 1989 Firebird Formula with a 5 speed manual. It has TPI injection. Earlier today I was driving normally, when suddenly it would stall at idle. When I got driving it seemed to run like normal. However, I had to keep revs on it when I stopped. I got it home and after letting it sit I started it again. It rain normally for a moment before racing to about 2000rpm then settling and nearly dying before cutting it off. Any ideas? When I applied gas this time it idled rough till about 3000.

Well for starters do you have any check engin light? Next up check out the timing. Im kinda suspecting the IAC valve though. Clean up the throttlebody good and check the IAC valve for proper operation and let us know how she does.
