i have a chance to pick up this 87 iroc... no title, mainly parts.. interior is so so. p.s. yes the hood is a tetanus shot waiting to happen

 

I'd say around $800.

But we need more information about it.

Without a title, not much. You'd probably do better selling the drivetrain separate, along with the ecm and harness, and push it as a TPI swap. The car could probably be sold as a roller. I couldn't see a parts car going for more than $500.

 

ok more info on the car .. I responded to an ad he had for that 71 chevy .. so it said 71 chevy turns out its a GMC, and when he sent me a pic of the truck I could see the hatch of a camaro in the back ground so I asked him about the camaro .. he told me he got stiffed from the previous owner on the title and now it sits. I went to go look at it, good rims, 700r tranny, rough interior but intact, one crack in the dash, glass t-tops good shape. he told me it was a 350 tpi I told him .. I doubt it, most likely a 305 which I was correct. Motor has not turned in about 3 yrs, been sitting since.

 

I would imagine around 400 to 500. Depends on the rear end too.

 

I got my 85 T/A for 500 cash and an old stereo. Last inspection ran out 12/08. It runs and drives.

 

Just the plenum and fuel rails from the TPI can sell for several hundred, and likewise the wheels. You're already up to a thousand right there. Parts that are literally impossible to get in Utah. They hafta be shipped in, if they can be found anywhere at any price. Glad I'm not desperate for any of that. I got my LM7 for what I was about to spend on plenum and fuel rails, and the LM7 included it's own intake, TB, rails and injectors, and aluminum heads.

 

forgot to mention the rear end was drum, I could of sworn that irocs came with disc but maybe it was in 88 and up ? I know for sure I need the T top shell and this one is in good shape I know that alone is $$$
