Engine Keeps Dieing, Need Fixed By Tomorrow!

I'm freaking out here, if I don't get this car running right by tomorrow I'll be in risk of losing my job...well sorta', it's very important I get this running soon!

I start my Trans Am and it runs for a few seconds and shuts off. I swapped batteries and now it has a better one and it didn't help at all. I was told to play with my timing but I see no improvement.

All I can think of is that the car needs an oil change (I don't know too much yet so basics is all I know), but I don't know why it keeps shutting off!

All Ideas are welcome, the car is far from stock, etc.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Try dissconnecting the IAC connector if it runs better clean the TB and replaces the IAC valve.

Is it bogging down? Or stumbling? If either of those things are happening then I would check the fuel pressure. Is your car throwing any codes?

It started smoking out of the right head/header area!

I remembered it needs header gaskets...does anyone know what kind I need? (1988 350 tpi),

it says fuel pressure is at 60...too high? how do I turn it down?
