My camaro hits bumps and need some extra advice
Well I have a amazing 1991 camaro rs, that when it hits bumps or dips it makes a tamberine sound. I am very curious on what it is. We thought it was the exhaust system so we switched it out for a flowmaster. Then we drove it around and it still was. A person out here says it is a bolt. Still have no clue what it is. Please help me.
Also if anyone can help me out, I would like some suggestions on some performance parts that can help me beef up my ride quite a bit. Not looking for engines. Just stickin with my little 305 right now. Later comes the bigger engine now I need quick and easy parts that are gonna help me keep these hondas down.

Put your hands on the car and shake everything you can set your eyes on till you find the rattle. Fuel filler neck, piece of catalytic converter, lightbulbs broken. scour the car and youll find it.
--Performance wise, I say get a high flow cat, remove the smog pump and get a shorter belt, may take a few tries to get the correct one, remove the muffler and pipe right before the rear axle and slap a cheap cherry bomb on it until you do the motor swap with headers. Get rid of the stock air cleaner for a nice open container with a K&N filter, have your distributor adjusted for premium fuel. Ive also heard that an MSD ignition box really wakes things up.
--Just a few thing I know that are easily reversible at emissions time. Be prepared to recharge your A/C if you remove the smog pump.

Check the sway bar end-links, circled in green. Turn the steering wheel full lock each side and look behind the wheel. You will be able to see them. If the rubber (red in the attached picture) has rotted away, the washers will jingle as you describe.
The rear end also has these that could be doing the same thing (no pic).

Will do, its a pain in the *** to see anything with my racing suspension about a 1-2 inch clearance and can barely get a jack under it. Yeah whatever makes the tamberine sound does not affect the performance but it worries the other drivers because they think i lost a bolt or some other thing they can think of. Do you have any links to where i can get the performance upgrades at?
Where can I get replacements for the bushings? No chevy place close by.

You don't need to use a jack to see them, just turn the steering wheel all the way and stick your head behind the tire.
I replaced mine with Energy Suspension Polyurethane end links. Pretty cheap upgrade that made the car handle better. Autozone should have them, and you can get them almost anywhere online (eBay, various thirdgen sponsors). Any auto parts store should also have stock rubber replacements.

I see
Maybe just walk around the car and give each tire a solid upward kick with your boot, this will somewhat simulate the shockwave produced by a bump in the road.
