A couple of problems
first, it is raining outside and for the second time I've had a rather large puddle in my passenger floor board but it only seems to happen with heavy rain. Any ideas? Only thing I've done around the hood area is put on a ram air hood and the back is notched out like a cowl hood. I don't know if maybe the drains in my cowl are clogged or something I'm pretty sure i don't have any holes in my firewall randomly. Also my gas gauge keeps jumping around, one minute I'll have half a tank next it says i got less than 1/4 its all random and never seems right. any suggestions to check or ideas or experiences please share.

Re: A couple of problems
possibly the door seals?
Probably the first thing I'd check out. Do you have T-Tops? I'd check them before the doors. I have the problem on my '00 bird...ticks me right off too.
The gas gauge is a very common problem with cars of this genre, from what I gather from the info I read here anyways.
I'm sort of looking into a remedy for this.

Re: A couple of problems
The windshield may not be installed properly. There are a lot of places these cars can leak. Have you tried spraying the car with a hose to try to duplicate the leak? I would park the car under a sprinkler to see if that does it. If it does, let the car dry out and then park it under the sprinkler again, but this time remove the "Hush panel" from under the dash and get in the car upside down with a flashlight and look up to see where the source of the water is coming from. With the sprinkler still on, you should see water dripping or flowing.

Re: A couple of problems
okay thanks for all of the suggestions, i found the leak today. apparently inside my drain tunnels in the cowl by the windshield i must have some blockage. i poured water in there and inside the kick panel closest to my fender there is a wiring harness plug in kind of mounted in the metal and i suppose the water is backing up high enough to leak in around that i had a friend look and he said it came in around that, i spread some seam sealer around it but how could i clean those out i use and air blower but nothin came out through the top.
